What is going on this weekend? Mostly in Arizona

Well I am usually a busy mom on Saturday and Sunday. So I usually spend the week looking for things to do. So here is a list, mainly Arizona events, but some nationwide:


  • Lowe's Build and Grow clinic Saturday 10-11am building a bean bag toss game.



  • RailFair at McCormick Ranch Train park. Saturday 10-1PM, Free to get in and $2 for the train and $1 for other rides. Inflatables, train displays and entertainment.



  • Barktoberfest Gilbert Towne Center, 90 E. Civic Center Dr. Gilbert, AZ, 85296 This will be for the Furry members of the family as well, Games, Prizes, Baxter the DBacks mascot will be there and more..



  • Michael's is doing a Pumpkin creating craft! It is only $5 dollars but they have all the supplies to decorate and create an Amazing pumpkin. My girls and I have done this for the last 2 years and it makes a great Halloween Decorate that lasts and has a memory behind it!



  • LakeShore Learning center is doing FREE Pumpkin puppet from 11-3pm. Kids can go and make a cute puppet for FREE and look around the store, they have some adorable things!



  • 7th Annul Cienega Creek Farm day. This is located between Phoenix and Tucson and it looks awesome! There is Spinning and weaving demo's, raffles and coloring contests for the kids, petting area for kids and more.... FREE!


  • Avondale fire Open house: This may make me want to drive out there because this looks great as well!!! From 10am-1 pm families can go into the fire station and learn about safety, tour the station, and have food! There will be entertainment for the kids and more, best part.... Its FREE!

  • Nina Mason Pulliam Rio Salado Audubon Center opening 10am-2pm this FREE event will have family activities, opportunities to see Arizona Nature, refreshments, and more... Support Arizona and Nature and learn a bit in the process.
