Wednesday Weekend Warm UP, What will you be doing?

Here are a few things going on around Arizona and some nation wide.

FRIDAY:

Arizona State Fair opens on Friday October 16th and the Smart Shopper is reporting that from open until 7pm the Fair admission will be $1!!!! Mix this with the wrist band 21 days for $21 ride bands and that is a good deal for adults!!!
Day of Play: Chandler is doing their second annual Day of Play! This will take place at TummbleWeed Park in Chandler. It Saturday October 17th from 9-12:00am. They will have a ton of Physical Activities for kids, health booths, and there is a great play area for kids. Here

SATURDAY:
Front Porch Festival, now this sounds like my kind of festival! Down Town Glendale shopping area is having make and take crafts, demonstrations, and special treats for the kids Saturday October 17th from 10am-4pm. Adults can shop and kids can have fun!!!

Mother Nature's Farm Alexanders Birthday Celebration! Everyone with an October birthday gets in for FREE! Children are $7 and Adults are $3. Admission includes Bounce house, straw bounce, an OZ pumpkin and decorate the oz pumpkin, hay ride, maze, and animal feeding. You can bring a lunch or eat there. This is a little pricey but if you have a child with an October Birthday like me, this could be cheap since adults are only $3.

Animal Tails at Changing Hands book store. If you have not made the trip here, you should!!! Every Saturday or most, they have kid activities and events. The store is really neat and the activities are great for kids! This Saturday October 17th at 11am, they will be bringing some of the Phoenix Zoo's CREEPY CRAWLY Spiders in and talking about them with kids. It will be a neat way to include Halloween and education.

Bookman's Halloween Party: Dress up the kids and head over to the Phoenix location for a party all! Play games, eat treats, and win prizes. Saturday October 17th from 2:00-4:00pm

Lake Shore store's have FREE Kids Crafts on Saturday's from 11am-3pm. Saturday October 17th is a Silly Scarecrow!

SUNDAY:
IKEA has kids crafts, in the kid section Sunday October 18th from 11am-1p.m. Check out IKEA here
