Wednesday Weekend Warm-Up, what will you be doing this weekend?

These are some of the events going on around Arizona and some are nation wide. Most if not all are FREE but I am always looking to add events as they come up. Hope this helps get you and your family out and about!

Friday:

Free First Friday Nights at the Childrens Museum: 6pm-10pm. Everyone is FREE between these hours. There are play rooms, activities, hands on crafts, and more!!! Phoenix Childrens Museum 215 N 7th St. 602-253-0501

Queen Creek Hometown Christmas: Friday December 4th 5pm-9pm. FREE There will be Arts and Crafts, Food and Craft vendors, and a Visit from Santa. Queen Creek Branch Library, 21802 S Ellsworth Rd, Queen Creek. 602-652-3000

Tempe Fall Festival of the Arts: Friday December 4th 10am-dusk FREE More than 400 fine artists, live entertainment, street performers, Kids Innovation Station, food and beverage vendors. Mill Ave, Tempe. 480-355-6068

Saturday:

Bass Pro Shop: Noon-5pm FREE. Come make a Reindeer hat and have yummy snacks! Also, visit with Santa and get a picture with him. There are games to play and lots of fun to be had.

Cookies and Cocoa with Santa: Saturday December 5th 10am-3pm.Cookies, cocoa crafts, storytelling and tours of the Rosson House Fees for some activities. Rosson House at Heritage Square, 115 N 6th St. 602-261-8063

Electric Light Parade (Sat Dec 5): 7pm. Free. Lighted motorized floats, performance groups and marching bands. Parade travels south on Central Ave from Montebello to Camelback Rd, where it will head east to 7th St, then south to Indian School Rd. 602-262-4627

Holiday Harmony Snow & Glow: Saturday December 5th 3:30pm-6:30pm. Live entertainment, interactive booths, Santa and snow. 3:30-6:30pm. Free. Scottsdale Civic Center Mall, 7380 E 2nd St, Scottsdale. 480-312-0217

Home Depot Building Clinic: Saturday December 5th 9am-12pm. Kids will build a wagon. This is such a great way to teach the kids building techniques and have fun at the same time!

Homeplate for the Holidays: 5-8:30pm. Free Santa arrives by fire truck, arts & crafts, inflatables (some fee for these) and 40 tons of snow. 5-8:30pm. Free. Goodyear Recreational Complex, 1933 S Ballpark Way, Goodyear. 623-882-3120

Lake Shore Learning Store: 11am-3pm FREE. Make a Celebration Candle. This cute Paper art work will be fun and creative.

Lowe's Build and Grow Workshop: 10am-11am FREE. The holiday season is upon us! Get in the spirit by building this festive Gingerbread House


Michael's Crafts Kids event: Saturday December 5th 10am- 1pm. FREE.  Kids can make a trinket box, Stocking, and Christmas card at Michaels stores. Also, get a demo on American Girl Braclets.
