Wednesday Weekend Warm-Up, Friday edition.

Friday:
Tempe Spring Festival of the Arts: Friday March 26th 2010. 10 a.m. to 6p.m. FREE. Come see a variety of art including painting, sculpture, photography, woodwork, ceramics, jewelry and more. Take the opportunity to talk with the artists about their creations. Bring your kids to the “Kids Innovation Station” where they can do visual art projects. Saturday:
Bunny & Egg Hunt: Saturday : March 27th 2010. 12:00-5:00pm. FREE. Ages 12 & under (with an adult). Egg hunt, photos with the Easter Bunny, activities and play time.

Dance Party: Saturday March 27th 2010. 11am-5:00pm. FREE. All ages. Celebrate the release of "Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel" with DVD giveaways, arts & crafts and dance instruction from the Phoenix Suns dancers. Desert Ridge Marketplace, 21001 N Tatum Blvd.

Deer Valley Rock Art Center Festival: Saturday March 27th 2010. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. FREE. Come enjoy guided hikes, interactive stations on archaeology and desert ecology, hands-on crafts for kids, ancient spear throwing demonstrations, flint knapping, a mock archaeology dig, and agave tasting. Eggstravaganza Eggcitement: Saturday March 27th 2010. 8 a.m.  FREE Join hundreds of kids in Fountain Hills scrambling to pick up over 12,000 eggs stuffed with candy and other prizes. Feathered Friends Festival: Saturday March 27th 2010. 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. FREE but a donation would be desired. Bring the whole family out for a day of learning and fun at the Riparian Institute.
