Wednesday Weekend Warm-Up, Friday edition.

Saturday:

Glendale Folk & Heritage Festival: 10am-5pm. Free. All ages. Folk and bluegrass music, cowboy poetry, storytelling, blacksmith demonstrations, children's activities, historic tours and more. Sahuaro Ranch Park, 9802 N 59th Ave, Glendale.

Kids, Bugs, & Butterflies: Saturday March 20th, 2010. 10:00-11:00AM. FREE. Kids can choose between making a colorful butterfly or creating a home for a bug friend at this craft time. Light snacks and drinks are included.

LakeShore Learning Store Saturday Crafts: Saturday March 20th, 2009 11:00-3:00PM. FREE. Kids can go and make cute crafts and play with the toys in the store. Make a cute bird feeder! What a great way to start the spring season!!!

Play it Safe: 9am-1pm. Free.All ages. Learn about health and safety issues related to summertime activities. Hands-on activities, demonstrations, giveaways, crafts and free immunizations. Phoenix Children's Hospital, 1919 E Thomas Rd

Summer Safety Fair: 10am-2pm. Free.All ages. Bike rodeo, safety-related information booths, safety product give-aways, inflatables, face painting, fire and safety vehicles on display. Presented by the Glendale Police, Fire and transportation Depts and the Citizen's Police Academy. Target shopping center, 10404 N 43rd Ave, Glendale


Sunday:

Meet Cinderellla Princess Party: Sunday March 21st, 2010. 12:00-2:00pm. FREE if parent stays to take a tour. Little girls can dress up in their favorite princess outfit and meet Cinderella, who reads stories, sings, dances, plays games with children, and leads an arts and crafts time. Snacks and drinks provided. Free for children attending whose parents stay to take a tour of the facility. Regular fees apply for children who stay without parents present.
