Wednesday Weekend Warm-Up, FRIDAY Edition...What will you be doing?

Saturday:

Bike4Life: Saturday April 24th 9:00-12:00pm. FREE (but they are trying to raise money so if you can donate). There is a 12 mile ride to the Multicultural Center (must have helmets). Radio Disney will be there doing games and having fun for the kiddos. There are a ton of giveaways and more!!!

Changing Hands Bookstore Story time: Saturday April 24th 11:00-12:00pm. FREE. Join people from the AZ Science center and learn about science and read "There is nothing to do on Mars".

Earth Day/ Arbor Day: Saturday April 24th, 8:00-12:00. FREE. Help clean up the outdoors. There will be vendors on hand to talk about going green, a family bike ride, and more 

Earth Day Celebration: Saturday April 24th, 9:00-1:00pm. FREE. Guided bird walks, giveaways, demonstartions on GREEN items, live Animal demonstartions and more!!!

Green Fuel Technologies Spring Festival: Saturday April 24th, 10:00-4:00. FREE. All ages. Seminars about solar panels, alternative energy exhibits, eco-friendly entertainment, Kids Zone, birdhouse building and face painting. One family will win a totally Solar power system valued at $750.00!!!

Lake Shore Learning Store Saturday craft: Saturday April 24th, 11:00-3:00pm. FREE. Make a cute picket fence. All supplies are provided and there are lots of things to see and play with in the store!

Lowe's Build and Grow Clinic: Saturday April 24th, 10:00 AM. FREE. Kids will be building a Bird house. All supplies are provided and what a great gift for Mothers Day Approaching. You can sign up ahead of time and print the form to make getting the supplies quicker.

Lucky Duck Derby:  Saturday April 24th 11:00-2:00. You can buy 2 ducks for $10 or just come enjoy the festivities for FREE. There is a $10,000.00 for the winning duck. You drop your duck in the canal at 1:30.However, there will be music and games and fun prior to the event!

Michaels Mother Day Craft:  Saturday April 24th 10-1:00pm. FREE (while supplies last). Make a Pluffy clay magnet. All the supplies are provided just bring your creativity and choose who to give this too.

Peoria Spring Festival: Saturday April 24th, 1:00-4:00. FREE. Music, dance performances, food tasting, activities, and giveaways.

Salt River Pima Indian Community Earth Day: Saturday April 24, 9am-2pm. Free. All ages. Roadway cleanup, gardening demonstrations, art contest, recycling information and an environmental fair. Lunch from 12:30-1:30.

ScottsDale Arbor Day: Saturday April 24th, 10:00-1:00, FREE. Come and enjoy learning about a greener home and fun. Scavenger hunts, contests, and prizes for children of all ages. The first 300 people will receive a seedling tree for your own home!

West Valley Expo: Saturday April 24th, 11:00-4:00. FREE. There is bounce houses, face painting, animal activities, weiner dog and chihuahua races, skateboard competition, band playing live music,


Sunday:

Dia del Nino at the Phoenix Zoo: Sunday April 25th 9:00-4:00. With admission to the Zoo. There will be tons of FREE events and activities to celebrate the Hispanic Holiday that celebrates children!!!
