Wednesday Weekend Warm-Up, Thursday edition. Sorry I was organizing coupons.

Saturday:

Cave Creek Balloon Festival: Saturday January 9th. Starts at 5:00pm. $5; children 5 and under are FREE. There will be tons of Balloons or all shaped and sizes. They will have live music, food booths and more. 5736 E Rancho Manana Blvd Cave Creek, AZ 85331

Cave Creek Museum Kids Activity: Saturday January 9th. 1:30-2:30pm. FREE. Free with advanced reservations, space is limited. The event features a special children's program about cowboy attire, from working clothes to his fancy dress-up duds. Following the presentation, children will design and make their own bola ties to wear and take home. Cave Creek Museum, 6140 E. Skyline Drive, Cave Creek. 480-488-2764

Cooking Stort Time: Saturday January 9th. 11:00am-Noon. FREE. Hear the story, "There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed A Fly" then make winter snacks. The event is led by a representative from Storybook Kitchen. Changing Hands Bookstore, 6428 S. McClintock Drive, Tempe. 480-730-0205.

FBC Motorcycle and Car Show: Saturday January 9th. 9am-3:00pm. FREE but will be collecting donation to support the HOPE womens shelter. Have some fun and see some beautiful cars and motorcycles. Donation will be accepted such as: Diapers, formula, non-perishable baby items. 4801 E Brown Rd. Mesa AZ. 85205.

Flagg Gem & Mineral Show: Saturday Jan. 9th,  9am-5pm. Free. All ages. Dealers of minerals, fossils, gems and lapidary materials. Includes children's activities and free samples for children and teachers. Mesa Community College, 1833 W Southern Ave, Mesa

Lake Shore learning Store Saturday Crafts: Saturday January 9th, 11:00am-3:00pm. Today's craft will be a funky bow tie. They will decorate and can wear a cute bow tie.

Lowe's Build and Grow Clinic: Saturday January 9th 10am. Free. They will be building a Coin Bank with a see through front so that kids can see their money grow!!! Sign up early so you can get your seat.

SouthWest Gun Fighting show: Saturday Jaunary 9th 10am-3:00pm. This gun show travels and will stop in Pioneer Village every First Saturday of the month. Pioneer Village is a town that looks like it was left behind in the 1800's. They live and work like people did in the 1800's. This would make a fun day trip. Pioneer Living History Village, 3901 W. Pioneer Road, Phoenix.

These Girls Rock! : Saturday January 9th, 3pm. Free. Ages 5-17. Free, 1-hour junior golf clinics for girls feature golf instruction, golf games, golf drills and exposure to The First Tee of Phoenix life skills curriculum. No previous golf experience is necessary; equipment can be borrowed. Preregister by Jan 6. Encanto 9 Golf Course. 602-305-7655

It is a slow week, I am shocked that I had to work really hard to find these events. I guess after the holidays everyone needs a break. I hope this helps a little. I will update if and when I find more things to do.
